ABOUT ADNAN NADEEM
Dr Adnan Nadeem is working as an Associate Professor in the Federal Urdu University of Arts Science & Technology, Pakistan since March 2011. Between April 2007 and January 2011, he has served as a PhD researcher on scholarship in the Centre for Communications Systems Research,(CCSR) University of Surrey, UK. CCSR is UK’s largest and one of the Europe’s most reputed research centers in the field of communications. He works on the project title intrusion detection & prevention framework for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks and also conducted postgraduate labs at Surrey. Since March 2005 till April 2007 he worked as lecturer in the Department of Computer Science Federal Urdu University, Pakistan. During his pedagogical journey he has won several awards and achievements including the Foreign PhD scholarship worth approximately $ in 2007. He was awarded Associate Fellowship of Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), UK in 2009. He has won two best paper award. He received his bachelor’s degree BSc and master’s degree MCS in computer science, both from the Faculty of Science, University of Karachi with first division. Dr Adnan’s principle research interest includes wireless sensor and body area network applied to agriculture, healthcare and disability assistant. He has mainly work on network layer security, QoS and reliability issues of Mobile Ad Hoc and sensors Networks. Currently he is focusing on Secure Cyber Physical Systems healthcare applications. On these topics he has published over 50 peer review papers in international journal and conferences including a patient submission. He has also presented his research and tutorials in several international conference.
