ABOUT ABDUL WAHID KHAN
My PhD is in geography and environmental governance with a background in development studies. I currently teach research methods and design at the IIS London. My research interests include mountain communities, climate change, commons, resource management, nature, Indigenous communities and climate change, pastoral communities, Islamic studies and environmental policies. My research focuses on Northern Pakistan. I have experience working with Net Zero Standards, Climate Change Consultancy, Communication, Advocacy for Pastoralists and Nomadic Communities. I am currently also working as the communication advisor for the IYRP 2026.
