About Aastha Kapoor
I\'ve worked on the optimal planning of EV charging infrastructure in the coupled transportation and power distribution networks. I have developed optimal scheduling and pricing strategies for the charging stations in both decentralized and centralized frameoworks considering multiple entities such as DSO, Aggregators, charging stations, and EV owners. The analysis have also been carried out in presence of solar-PV installations at the charging stations. A blockchain-enabled framework is proposed to secure information flow and transactions among these entities. The non-EV and EV load used for developing planning strategies is forecasted and preprocessed using data analytics and machine learninng techniques. I have also worked in Demand Response Management for the stable operation of the distribution system.
