At Schlumberger I managed product cost basis for tender responses and ongoing operations. I was accountable for COGS related to new product development (NPD), quick development products (Rapid Response –RR), and large scope standard product requests. My responsibilities span multiple product lines including sand screens, sand-face completions, reservoir monitoring and control, multilateral, drill-stem testing and subsea. I was involved with developing cost basis for almost every hi-profile completion tender submitted by Schlumberger from 20••••15. As a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) champion and Concurrent Lifecycle Management (CLM) champion at one of the largest Schlumberger “Engineering, Manufacturing, Sustaining” (EMS) manufacturing centers I was involved in all aspects of the EMS organization. My training in Lean Six Sigma methodology and its functional application inside of Schlumberger has provided me with the skill set required to teach and implement Continuous Improvement in large organizations. As the CLM champion I managed the pilot program rollout and implementation of a set of global standards developed for the EMS organization at one of two manufacturing centers. These new standards consist of hundreds of procedures designed to manage a broad range of activities from trade compliance to new product development. The implementation of the CLM management system enables me to operate with a top down understanding of large scale business processes and their interdependent nature.
