Obtaining his Cisco CCIE Certification in 2007, Derek has built a reputation starting with the earliest hybrid cloud data centers. Derek specializes in translating business obstacles into technologically-based solutions. As a recognized leader in the San Diego IT community, Derek has presented in local Cisco user groups, authored articles on packetpushers.net, a member of the InfraGard program and been featured as a subject matter expert for panels.
