Speck Design \"Creates Elevated Human Connections by Designing Experiences\". As Sr. Director of Product Development Strategy at Speck I identify prospective clients, nurture relationships, and book new business for Speck Design. I work with clients identify new opportunities, design solutions and engineer products that achieve their business goals. My background as a Program Manager and Design Engineer gives me a unique ability to deeply understand the technical needs of our clients, nimbly bridge the chasm between technology and business goals, and develop successful product development programs that produce stellar results. I have a deep understanding of the end-to-end process of product development including Insights and Strategy, Industrial Design, Engineering, and transfer to production. I have worked on projects ranging from robots, high-speed telecommunications chassis, telepresence systems, consumer products, and medical products. I lead and/or facilitate multi-disciplinary Speck teams, manage account development efforts, and foster relationships with executive decision makers to achieve account revenue goals. Build and maintain key client relationships as well as understand clients’ business strategy, organization, processes, and decision-making structures. In addition I represent Specks cross functional offering and our unique value proposition, manage proposal writing, negotiating budgets, defining the scope and contracts.
