ABOUT DAN PETKOVIC

Civil Engineer with a passion for designing, engineering, and maintaining safe and efficient structures, in the surface transportation and heavy highway construction industry. With a strong background in civil engineering and a keen eye for detail, I thrive on solving complex structural challenges that ensure longevity and resilience of transportation structures.Throughout my career thus far, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from small pedestrian bridges, major river crossings, highway interchanges, and to large-scale state-owned infrastructure developments. I take pride in my ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage projects effectively, and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in bridge engineering technology and methods.Outside of work, I enjoy DIY home improvement projects, mountain biking, fishing, camping/hiking, and bouldering which often inspire my designs, enhance problem solving, and fuel my creativity. I’m always eager to learn and grow, both professionally and personally, and I’m committed to making a positive impact through my work that serves our local public, communities, and state transportation agencies.
