About David P. Broughton
As an attorney, I have significant experience serving as outside general counsel and trusted advisor to health care providers and other general corporate businesses. I assist my clients with all aspects of a company\'s life cycle, including entity formations, corporate governance, commercial contracts, debt and equity transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. I serve as a leader of Womble Carlyle’s multidisciplinary approach to serving senior living communities, including long-term care, assisted living, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) and home health and durable medical equipment providers. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children as well as with other family members and friends. I enjoy many different sports and outdoor activities, including running, golf, and tennis. I also enjoy volunteering for various charitable organizations and my church, reading and traveling.
