Currently a faculty member at El Camino College in Torrance, CA. My career prior to El Camino is an eclectic affair of opportunities and positions with a variety of organizations. The brief career tour includes U.S. Navy (naval officer), Levi Srauss & Co.(Director of Planning and Controller, Youthwear Division), Ocean Activity Center (CEO, Maui, HI), Hornblower Dining Yachts (General Manager), Management Recruiters International (General Manager), and University of Southern California (Director, Career Center, Rossier School of Education). This history gives me a unique perspective and the ability to add real world examples to the courses I teach.I cannot think of a better place to be or a more fulfilling position to have.

In addition, I teach small business accounting.I am also working on my doctoral dissertation. My dissertation research topic focuses on the concept of individual \"power\" and how students, once they learn about power, can achieve no matter what their background.
