About Dove Hoque
Dove is an emerging designer passionate about urban planning, architectural design, and interior environments. Her work explores how thoughtful design can enhance sustainability, community well-being, and the relationship between built and natural spaces.At the University of California, Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design, Dove developed a transit-oriented proposal reimagining the El Cerrito BART station as a pedestrian-centered community integrating green public space, mixed-use housing, and accessible transportation. Through the ACE Mentorship Program in New York, she collaborated with Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), Thornton Tomasetti, and ARUP on a Manhattan brownstone redesign, gaining experience in zoning research, structural coordination, and interior planning.Currently pursuing a BA in both Visual Arts and Economics at Union College, Dove continues to refine her technical and conceptual skills through fabrication projects, model-making, and design research.
