At Healthfirst, I oversee enterprise networking, telephony, security, storage, SaaS services, and end-user experience initiatives. In doing so, I launch cloud-based services in AWS and lead matrix teams of DevOps engineers, while supporting more than 7K onshore and offshore employees and 1.9M Healthfirst members. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, I also transitioned the workforce to full-time, remote operations with zero impact on service delivery and performance. Through these achievements, I have devised key strategies, cut costs, and advanced team performance, as well as: • Administer a $150M annual budget and set the strategic direction for the infrastructure and operations organization. • Reduced annual WAN expenses $3.5M by negotiating the managed service contract for a WAN redesign and IP toll-free consolidation. • Cut cycle times 50% to 75% and improved quality and deployment repeatability as a result of producing fully automated software. • Increased team agility and velocity by focusing on service-oriented delivery, creating full-stack engineering teams, and eliminating cross-team dependencies. • Decreased data center maintenance and costs by transitioning the Genesys Interactive IVR solution to hyper-converged technologies.
