I have a dozen years of experience helping high-growth tech companies navigate the most fun problems—hypergrowth, complex deals, and high-stakes regulatory hurdles. Today, I lead a team of 15 covering everything from core corporate work (board governance, M&A, corporate finance, Coinbase Ventures, exec compensation) to marketing, political affairs, and capital formation product counseling efforts.Before going in-house, I spent five years at Fenwick & West as the lead associate for corporate teams representing industry-defining technology companies like Airbnb, Databricks, Dropbox, and GitHub. I helped boards and executive teams close more than $13 billion in deals (M&A & financings).I joined Coinbase when we were a team of 800 and led the corporate team through hypergrowth to employees. I built our Corporate Legal function from the ground up, leading our $100B Direct Listing (the first for a crypto company) and managing over $7.5B in capital raised. I\'ve managed 25+ acquisitions—including the industry-record $2.9B Deribit deal—and built the engine that deployed over $500M through Coinbase Ventures across 500+ investments.
