Category Leader and sourcing SME centralizing procurement activity across five unique P/L\'s. Responsibilities: P2P system implementation and maintenance POC (super-user). Performed vendor reconciliation and modernized commodity code structure for better spend capture. Created new spend categories that included regular communication with relevant stakeholder groups and budget owners. Performed bid events (of various complexity and scale) from end-to-end. Created and published supplier spend and reporting tools. Developed supplier scorecards for snapshot of performance over relevant KPI\'s including risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Centralized nearly all procurement functions and leveraged category management expertise for largest areas of spend.(IT, Fin Serv, Contingent Labor)Centralized and standardized all supplier agreements (e.g. elimination of auto renewal terms, stanardized T\'s&C\'s). Impact: Developed Category review for Fin Serv. Combined spend from 42 live agreements to 3 high performers. Y1 cost avoidance $377K. Elevated status enabled dedicated customer service support. Reimagined marketing with supplier partnerhips for new mortgage loans, refinancing, home equity, and short-term high interest loans for immediate cash).Impact: Chartered company’s first preferred vendor list and ritualized annual business reviews. Achieved $412K cost avoidance in Y2 by qualifying new volumes and organic growth with lower tiered rates (service fees). Achieved 20% reduction of turn-around-time for customer loan applicationsCurrent role has shifted to operations, delivering to goals outlined in AOP and relevant category strategies, manage existing contract pipeline, ad hoc spend & supplier info, bid events, and refresh category reviews. Influence $30m or 75% of total spend
