Doug is Chief Operating Officer for Moffatt & Nichol. As member of executive management team he is involved in all aspects of firm management with specific responsibilities for shaping and implementing strategic activities within the organization, and integrating and coordinating operational management and operational finance teams. He is accountable, working through the operational management team, for the annual business plan, execution of work, risk management, staffing, and other aspects of client service. He also is actively engaged with the M&N Practices, Strategy Officer, and Business Development team in strategic growth and the capture of key projects and clients. As former Water Practice Director he continues to assist with the water practice transition and remains actively engaged in the firm\'s resiliency and adaptation initiative.Doug also serves as President of the ASFPM Foundation a national foundation focused on flood risk and floodplain management projects and outreach. Have served continuously as a national leader in floodplain management and have provided input to agencies, Congress, the national academies and other program and policy entities.
