Trade journalism doesn\'t have to be boring.That\'s my motto for IT Channel Oxygen, a title for the IT channel I launched in July 2023 after 16 years at CRN.My mission is to build a trade title that informs and excites through the exclusive news, interviews, listicles and market data it publishes. IT Channel Oxygen has the support of the industry, with partner CEOs such as Mike Norris, Graham Charlton and Sam Mudd among our regular interviewees. It is an editorial-driven project designed to bring some energy back into the trade press.At IT Channel Oxygen, we treat our readers as individual consumers who we can excite and inform. That means stripping out the corporate jargon, prioritising meaningful information over marketing fluff and seeking out candid and authentic views.Despite all this, nothing will beat my career high of being the mute half of a double act with Jimmy Greaves way back in the late noughties!
