About Douglas Williams
For over 35 years Doug has been trying Patent and IP cases. He has tried jury cases from California to Delaware and from Florida to North Dakota. He has litigated IP cases in more than half of the states of the United States. He has argued hundreds of motions of all kinds and has examined hundreds of witnesses at trial and depositions. His trial practice is nationwide and he has an over 80% success rate in cases litigated since He was inducted 10 years ago as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Selection to the College is limited to 1% of the bar. Doug is also a registered patent attorney and joins his partner Alan Carlson as two of the fewer than a dozen active patent trial lawyers in the nation who are both Fellows in the College and registered patent attorneys. He has been regularly listed in Best Lawyers of America and Super Lawyers for over 10 years. After decades of practice, Doug remains passionate about trying patent and IP cases.
