About Douglas Walled
I am an enthusiastic science nerd become radiologist, subspecializing in advanced cardiac imaging, oncologic PET-CT, and nuclear medicine procedures. I share Doctorpedia\'s vision of building a replete library of free, up-to-date, easily digestible medical information for everyone worldwide. Anyone who has been \"a patient\" knows the difficulty of understanding their condition and the suboptimal way we currently interface with doctors. Time limitations, anxiety, and barriers of communication have accelerated the need for a free, widely-available platform to explain medical conditions in direct, easy to understand language from the people who provide it (our videos are made exclusively by physician experts). I sit on the advisory board and am CMO of the Radiology Channel at Doctorpedia. My passion for teaching has also led me to found Dokter Doug Productions, LLC. With over 10 years of in-person and online experience as a medical educator, Dokter Doug will be an online resource for radiology residents preparing for their board examination.
