I am the co-leader of the successful \"Just Transition\" project, which secured £1.4 million in funding from the Scottish Government. This commercial initiative explores using 3D reality capture technologies (LiDAR, laser, and SLAM scanning), thermography, and VR/AR/MxR gaming technologies in urban design, building performance, and community engagement. The project also includes developing a new cross-sector Immersive Technologies Digital Innovation Lab at Robert Gordon University (RGU).As part of the Just Transition project, I am the technical director for the 3D Urban Model of Aberdeen.I have established a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and research agreement with the Department of Storia, Disegno e Restauro dell\'Architettura at Sapienza University of Rome. This collaboration focuses on researching and developing the Aachen Cathedral UNESCO World Heritage Site and partnering with the University of Aachen\'s School of Architecture.Additionally, I hosted and organised a specialist workshop on standards and guidelines for digital technologies in the architecture, planning, and cultural heritage sectors at Cornell University in New York.
