In my career I have enjoyed several senior management positions in the areas of Product Management, Project Management, Technical Development, New Product Introductions, Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations. My professional and personal experiences have taught me a lot about myself: I can build and lead high performance teams - Helping people excel in their roles is one of my biggest motivators - Although competitive by nature, I find team success more rewarding then individual achievements - I value diversity and believe differing opinions, styles, experiences and perspectives lead to better outcomes I strive to make quality decisions by leveraging a balanced approach between business acumen and technical savvy - As a Mechanical Engineer I have a solid grounding in problem solving and finding better, more efficient ways of doing things - I leverage my diverse professional experiences to look at problems from different angles to come up with innovative and creative solutions- My analytical nature leads me to a more structured approach to decision making, never losing sight of the fact that you seldom have all the data you would like to make a decision. I\'m driven by a desire for continuous improvement both personally and professionally - I\'m constantly learning about the world around me - I stay calm during times of adversity - Experience is often my best teacher: Reflect - Analyze - Apply In my downtime I enjoy the outdoors where my lifelong interest in our environment intersects nicely with my fitness goals.
