I also counsel carriers in cross-border matters and claim disputes outside the United States. I have extensive experience handling and resolving insurance coverage disputes involving environmental, toxic tort, asbestos, construction, bad faith, products, professional liability, management liability, fraud, first-party property, business interruption, pandemic/ COVID-19, cyber, and technology claims.I have briefed and argued motions and appeals in multiple jurisdictions and have handled a wide array of notable insurance coverage disputes involving high-dollar amounts. I have experience with many different lines of coverage, including commercial general liability, commercial property, umbrella, excess and surplus lines, ocean and inland marine, political violence and political risk, professional liability (errors and omissions), management liability, pollution liability (environmental liability), and cyber risk. I have handled a wide array of complex insurance issues including trigger and allocation, exhaustion, the duty to defend, the duty to indemnify, settlement obligations, late notice, rescission, reformation, the applicability of policy conditions and exclusions, bad faith, and extra-contractual liability.My practice also includes counseling (re)insurers regarding large losses, risk analysis, policy drafting, and other business matters.
