I\'m a transport economist and Transport Planning Professional with 20 years experience gained in a range of positions: consultant, business analyst, transport planner, licensing sales account manager, business development manager and most recently customer programme manager.Always customer focused and customer friendly, my \"customers\" at various points in time have included the UK Department for Transport, Transport for London, Transport Scotland, One.Network, PTV, GBG Group, Apple, Microsoft, Atkins Global and CACI UK among many others. In my early transport planning career, I supported the evaluation of proposals to expand airport capacity in the UK, reviewed barriers to trade with Burundi from within East Africa, and developed and applied transport models to support appraisal of new transport infrastructure including rail stations and the Forth Replacement Crossing. In my 7 years of sales and business development work, I have been responsible for the defence, support and growth of B2B accounts of anything between €50k and >€100\'s Million in size. I\'ve supported bid and tender activity in both the Enterprise and Automotive B2B sectors and the development of Go to Market strategies together with commercial, legal, product and pricing colleagues. Examples include the successful development of TomTom\'s position in the Traffic Analytics and Management markets.I\'ve also supported the identification, negotiation and closing of data sourcing deals to enable new product development in TomTom\'s Traffic and Travel Information Product Unit.
