Responsible for delivery against the programme of the Trafford Councils highway and transportation capital programme that is resourced from internal and external funds and delivered by service providers. Responsible for programme and project direction, plan, budgets, resources and deliverables for highways and transportation programmes and projects, maintaining standards and monitors scope and project quality and benefit realisation. Monitor and liaises with the One Trafford Partnership (OTP) projects team to make sure schemes are delivered on time and to budget and that goals and objectives are met. Responsible for tracking the programme milestones against project timelines and deliverables and identifying associated risks and resolving issues as they arise. Ensure all programme and project documentation is accurately maintained and reports are presented in a timely and well-orderedstructure that provides updates on progress reports in accordance to the agreed governance structure of the programme. Represent the Council at GMCA and TfGM meetings to ensure Trafford is maximising opportunities for funding bids and programme entry of schemes in line with corporate priorities. Research and seek to bid for other external funding associated with services delivered by the OTP that meet corporate objectives. Ensure that programmes delivered by service providers and OTP Consultancy / programme and project teams are delivered to external funders governance and delivery criteria.
