Part-time position as Project Manager for Maintenance (expense) and Capital turnaround projects - for the Cenovus Toledo refinery. Primarily consisting of projects within the FCC unit. In the process of developing replacement specifications and managing procurement of FCC expansion joints, flue gas butterfly valves, slide valve replacement & repairs, reactor/regenerator internals, heater convection sections, heater radiant tubes, pressure vessels, shell-and-tube heat exchangers (and components), air-cooled heat exchangers, tower components and various other fixed-equipment fabrications. Also have projects in process units CO Boiler, Cat Poly, Unsat Gas, Crude, Naphtha Treater, Reformer, Iso, Alky, Hydrotreater, Crude, Vac, Coker, SRU, TGT, H2, etc.Also been assigned a primary role on repair/replacement of refinery equipment for mid-size turnarounds. Common responsibilities include developing repair plans for known scope and to expedite repairs and materials for discovery work. Also manage subcontractors for specialty work - such as refractory infrared scans, hot/cold expansion joint inspections & subsequent repairs, specialty valve inspection & repairs and cooling tower repairs.Responsible for the full life-cycle of replacement equipment and major components - beginning with written specifications and ending with turnaround installation. Works closely with Vendor\'s PM, production, QC and management personnel. Also works closely with assigned 3rd party inspection to ensure compliance with the full contract requirements.
