A financial services professional with more than 30 years’ experience in first- and second-line roles encompassing operational resilience, quality assurance, data governance, team management and supervision, governance and assurance, board-level report writing, training and competence, risk management, compliance, sales and financial crime. My personal and professional standards are very high and I have developed a reputation for honesty and integrity. I am a highly organised, motivated and professional individual with a ‘can do’ attitude and a consistent record of success. I am experienced in operational and process management, and able to quickly assimilate, analyse and present complex information from a variety of sources. I have strong communication, inter-personal and influencing skills, and I am able to build relationships at all levels. I am an experienced and effective people manager and leader, able to develop teams and individuals to greater productivity and engagement. The wide range of roles that I have undertaken has given me a very broad knowledge base and enables me to adopt a pragmatic and commercially-aware approach, whilst ensuring that risks are identified and appropriately controlled. I have proven ability to learn new areas and become fully effective within short time frames.
