About Doug Wright
I am an EHS professional with 30+ years experience in the Petrochemical industry that include involvement in many facets of the business. I have over 12 years of management experience in various departments leading technical and professional personnel, quality systems, Supply Chain, EHS, and various regulatory driven systems to support the overall operations at a manufacturing site level. This experience also included managing multiple sites in EHS for a 14 month period.My early years provided hands on experience in production operations, laboratory, quality assurance, plant services & utilities, packaging operations, and logistics/transportation as well as emergency response support through fire, rescue, and medical training. This has provided me with a solid foundation for managing many of these functions as I moved through various roles in the organization.Along with these core strengths, I have handled additional responsibilities including: management representative and lead auditor for ISO9001 and RC14001 and serving as a Special Government Employee (SGE) for OSHA with VPP programs and certifications.
