ABOUT DOUGLAS MARTINS
Data Engineer with more than 6 years of experience in IT companies, developing projects for different industry segments (logistics, retail, gaming). I am currently working at Wildlife, the biggest gaming studio in Brazil.Graduated in engineering from UFRJ, one of the best universities in Latin America.Before Wildlife, I worked at ORTEC as a Data Scientist. I developed more than 10 data projects for mostly logistic companies. Some solutions were designed and developed from the ground and turned into data products ready to be used on other similar companies.I have experience with data processing using Python, Pyspark, SQL and Airflow. I also used Looker, Spotfire and Power BI as BI visualization tool. I am currently studying other cloud providers, like GCP and Azure. Also, I have been developing my DevOps skills with focus on Data (also called DataOps).I have good interest in any problem that can be solved by using data, especially the ones involving data processing optimization and machine learning. Love to read different articles from more experienced people describing how they solved the problems from their day to day life. Always ready and motivated to learn new concepts.
