Currently an applied scientist at Amazon working on low-latency recommender systems-Some highlights:As a data scientist at Toyota, I developed a patent-pending Bayesian machine-learning algorithm that captures individual customer price sensitivity and substitution preferences at the feature level for vehicle configurations.In graduate school, I worked on the neutron electric dipole moment experiment at Los Alamos National Labs to help figure out why there is more matter than antimatter in the universe. Department of Energy SCGSR awardee.As an undergraduate researcher I studied the Casimir effect, a quantum phenomenon that occurs as a result of zero-point energy fluctuations-In my spare time, I make ramen from scratch! I boil broth for days, and even imported an industrial noodle machine because I broke 3 manual pasta machines.
