Reading With A Rapper (based in Houston, TX) was created to relate English Language Arts (ELA) metrics and academics with socially conscious lyrics, video content and technology. Through this platform we can relate and uplift our youth socially and academically to skills necessary to thrive in Secondary and Collegiate Level courses. A RWAR demonstration or “pop up” encompass a short version of the RWAR curriculum (designed to be an 8-week after school course), giving students and educators a chance to experience RWAR before adopting the program.
