Accomplished Investment and Finance Professional with more than 40 years of diversified experience. Served as Chief Investment Officer for more than 20 years at two large, successful and well respected institutional investment programs, following extensive experience in treasury, corporate finance and capital markets. Extensive board room experience. Currently serve as a Board Member of the National Railroad Retirement Investment Trust in Washington, D.C, as a member of the Investment Committee of The Obama Foundation in Chicago, and as a Board Trustee at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago. Previously served on the boards of CIEBA, the Exelon Foundation, CFA Society of Chicago and the McGowan Foundation. Joined Exelon Corporation (Nasdaq, EXC) in November 2009 as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer with responsibilities for managing $52 billion of assets across multiple investment trusts, including a $20 billion pension fund. In 2022, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Institutional Investor and was named to Chief Investment Officer magazine’s Power 100 list of most influential asset owners from 2013 to 2023.Retired from Exelon in July 2024.From 2003 to 2009, served as Chief Investment Officer at Chrysler Corporation (now Stellantis, NYSE - STLA) with responsibility for all asset management activities globally for multiple employee benefit trusts totaling $30 billion. Also have extensive treasury and capital market experience including Treasurer of Chrysler Canada and Director of Corporate Finance and Capital Markets for DaimlerChrysler.
