Responsible for all aspects of patron circulation services at this large, busy, suburban public library.Performance measures: Total number of holdings: 172,060; total circulation: 335,048; children\'s programs: 744; total number of visitors: 172,363.Specific duties include:Utilize Sierra (ILS) software to fulfill all patron inquiries and requests, including: database searches; patron registrations; check in/out library materials; process/clear holds; renewals; fine collections; and donations.Assist patrons with public-access technologies; online resources (Aspen Discovery/Minuteman Library Network, Hoopla, Kanopy, and OverDrive/Libby); and self-service kiosks.Process daily library deliveries of books and other materials to and from area warehouses.Schedule/book meeting rooms and exhibition space as per request.Events Management: Process program bookings; manage event logistics and marketing; organize/set-up venue; host concerts, lectures, and related programs; and provide assistance to staff, patrons, and clients regarding venue\'s computer/audio/visual technologies.Plan and produce thematic displays of books, music, video recordings, and related materials to promote and market the library\'s collections to the community.Provide patrons with up-to-date information regarding the Goodnow Library Foundation; related library development activities; and volunteer opportunities.Provide coverage for Reference and Children\'s Departments during events, programs, and staff breaks; process paging lists; and handle special assignments as required.Part-Time Library Assistant (2021 - Present)Substitute Library Assistant (20••••21)
