About Douglas Downing

I began my career with Sentry as a Customer Service Representative in 2002. After building a strong customer service foundation, I moved onto the world of claims. My career in claims started in our Commercial Auto and Equipment Department. As I continued my professional development, I was promoted to a Claims Representative II position in our Commercial Liability Claims Department. I was then promoted into a Senior role, followed by a promotion into a Specialist position. In my roles within the Liability Claims Department I resolved severe and complex claims in the areas of auto, general liability, product, employment related practices, and data compromise. In 2016 I became a Claims Manager in Sentry\'s Commercial Auto and Equipment Department. Most recently, in 2021, I accepted a role as a manager in our Commercial Liability Department. My amazing team of highly skilled and professional adjusters resolve complex commercial auto, product, and general liability claims for Sentry\'s National Account clients throughout the United States.
