About Douglas Delara
I am an accounting professional that aims to provide exceptional client service in the variety of industries that I serve. The constant changes in the accounting world are part of what makes my work so exciting. Whether it’s working through technical accounting issues, debt refinancing, mergers and acquisitions, equity transactions or navigating through the regularly changing compliance landscape, every day presents new and exciting challenges.Since 2012, I have worked in assurance practices, serving a diverse group up clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, technology, quasi-governmental, not-for-profits, as well as performing employee benefit plan audits for many of my clients. I consider my primary role to be a trusted advisor to all of my clients, while primarily leading audits, compilations and reviews.After growing up in New Hampshire and graduating from UNH, being a licensed CPA in New Hampshire has allowed me to stay close to the community that I grew up in and allowed me to connect with businesses and organizations that serve the same communities I live and work in. Part of my community involvement includes serving as the Treasurer of the Granite United Way, a tremendous organization that provides extremely valuable services to New Hampshire communities. I am passionate about being able to give back to the communities which have given me so much. I also sit on the finance committee for the Manchester Community Music School, an organization that provides exceptional programming for students of all ages. Serving these great organizations has really been a personal highlight for me throughout my career.
