ABOUT DOUGLAS CURRIE

With over 20 years of work experience in the construction industry, I am a seasoned and versatile pre-construction manager at Morgan Sindall Construction, a leading UK contractor and regeneration group. I have a strong background in building design engineering, which I obtained from the University of Strathclyde, and I have applied my skills and knowledge in surveying, project estimation, and contract management to deliver successful projects across various sectors and regions. In my current role, I work closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to provide accurate and competitive bids, as well as to manage risks, opportunities, and value engineering. In my previous roles, I have managed and delivered multiple projects for NOFITECH, a Norwegian company that specializes in land-based fish farming systems, and GRAHAM Group, a UK-based construction and asset management company. I am passionate about creating sustainable and innovative solutions for the built environment, and I always strive to exceed expectations and deliver excellence. I am also committed to continuous learning and improvement, and I enjoy collaborating with diverse and talented teams. I am looking for new challenges and opportunities to apply my skills and expertise, and to contribute to the vision and mission of Morgan Sindall Construction.
