Plans, coordinates, facilitates, validates, monitors, and assesses contingency operations and plans in the air, land, and maritime domains, and planned and emergent operations in Europe and Africa. Coordinates resources, authorities, policies, products, and staffing actions which support Combatant Command requirements to support operations and interagency requests for assistance. Provides rotational stand-by-support for crisis management teams if activated in support of the National Joint Operations and Intelligence (NJOIC) via scheduled periods of on-call duty. Interprets, analyzes, and evaluates federal statutes, executive orders, presidential directives, new or modified legislation, Department of Defense policies, procedures, publications, Combatant Command plans, interagency agreements and plans.
