ABOUT DOUGIE MAJOR
Experienced technology consultant and self taught programmer. My passion is understanding how technology can solve real world business problems and I have been lucky enough to do that with large multinationals across multiple sectors, managing some awesome teams during my career to date.My interest in technology from a young age (and many nights trying to solve coding problems) means I am pretty good at understanding the detail of technology, so much so I taught myself how to programme (HTML/CSS/JS) and was able to do it for clients prior to my time at Accenture and Amazon Web Services when I ran my own web design agency. I am always interested in new trends and how they work in practice. I currently hold cloud practitioner and SA associate certificates and I am working towards the professional certification as part of a personal development plan.Whilst I am not in front of a computer, you\'ll probably find me playing rugby or learning how to fly planes!
