   TivaWater is a U.S. based nonprofit organization that is passionate about providing clean water to the most vulnerable families. More specifically, we design, manufacture and distribute household water filters in developing countries. Our goal is to provide the best point-of-use water filter in the world. Since 2010, we have placed over filters in Uganda, Guatemala and Haiti combined- giving over access to clean water. Nearly 748 million people do not have access to clean water and every 90 seconds a child dies from water related disease. TivaWater\'s patented design has unlocked the secret to providing an effective, durable, long lasting, and affordable water filter. TivaWater has a two-pronged strategy for solving the water crises. First, we work with foreign distributors that sell filters to the emerging upper class that can afford to pay. Secondly, we partner with NGO\'s and churches to distribute filters to their clients. We will achieve our goals through a commitment to quality, research, innovation and integrity. Our team continually conducts field research by follow-up visits with families that have been using a TivaWater filter. This knowledge equips us to improve our filter\'s ease of use and functionality, specifically adapted to the often harsh living conditions of our clients.
