Mandate and Core Accountabilities: Leads assigned releases from release initiation to wrap-up to deliver the desired initiative to the end user. Ensures that a successful release is the prime measure of success, including releasing within appropriate quality and regulatory standards and to the satisfaction of the stakeholders. Drives to mitigate release risk to achieve the delivery. Understands the technology and the business/group and facilitates communication with other release managers and stakeholders efficiently and effectively. Directs, manages and coordinates team members, including other release managers, business and technology resources, user groups, internal and external consultants and contractors, as well as vendors and external regulatory organizations.• Provides guidance to the release sponsor on the execution and implementation of releases, resulting in successful release outcomes.• Manages all aspects of the release lifecycle. Ensures all release processes are completed.• Ensures release management plans are developed, socialized, and consistently measured to deliver the expected release.• Executes release requirements in governance frameworks focused on risk appetite, regulatory and compliance standards.• Develops all related release management artifacts, while complying with applicable enterprise standards.• Monitors and controls release deliverables.
