I am a driven team leader and project manager with over 30 years of broad global experience in oil & gas reservoir engineering, reserves evaluations, economic analysis, and mergers & acquisitions. I have expertise in independent corporate reserves and acquisition / divestiture evaluations, including an excellent understanding of reserve reporting requirements in Canada (NI 51-101), the United States (SEC), and many international jurisdictions (Hong Kong, London, PRMS). I also have experience with mineral extraction from sub-surface brines and the associated reporting requirements under NI 43-101.Expertise includes unconventional experience in all major Canadian resource plays including the Montney, Duvernay, Bakken, Cardium, and Horn River. Also have experience with US unconventional plays in the Bakken/Three Forks, Permian, Eagleford, Barnett, and Marcellus. Conventional oil and gas experience, including enhanced recovery methods, include all areas of Western Canada. International experience includes Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Congo, Kazakhstan, Kurdistan, New Zealand, Nigeria, North Sea, South Africa, Tanzania, and onshore UK.M&A leadership advisory role in over $10 billion in successful transactions across Western Canada.Excellent understanding of bank oil & gas lending criteria and borrowing base evaluations.Independent Qualified Reserves Auditor (“IQRA”) as defined by the Canadian Oil & Gas Evaluation Handbook and National Instrument 51-101.
