IT Manager for a small business with 30 employees. Oversees all aspects of the company’s technology, from communication systems to mobile computing, desktop workstations, servers, and network infrastructure.Specifically, I manage, maintain, and support:• 17 desktop computers running Microsoft Windows 10.• three desktop computers running Microsoft Windows 11.• 5 Raspberry PI 4 running Stratodesk thin client software.• Mobile computing devices, including laptops and Android-based tablets and phones, 1 Apple Tablet running BIM 360.• Windows Servers: 2008, 2012R2, 2016, and 2019 • Microsoft server platforms and software, including Windows Server, IIS, and Remote Desktop Server.• Network services including Active Directory with Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, FTP, VPN, and internal eMail server. Webserver and external eMail hosted on 4 Hypervisors XCPng. • Ncomputing vSpace Server• Stratodesk Console Manager• Thinstuff XPS/VS.Remote Desktop Server • Dell Servers and a mix of Cisco and Netgear Switches.• Wifi Access Points and Bridges• Printing and Imaging needs.• Telephone system NEC Univar Fiber connection with PRI/Internet. LTE Internet backup.• Network security at all levels, from hardware-based firewall at the perimeter to endpoint security using Microsoft Security and Currentware software.• Client software including Microsoft Windows 10/11, LibreOffice, 7Zip, Filezilla, PDFSam, Thunderbird, GStarCAD, Abbyy Fine Reader, and Chrome.• Daily responsibilities run the entire gamut from user help desk support to advanced server and network infrastructure maintenance and support. • Perform planning and design for software, network, and server deployments. • Maintain all licensing and warranties, prepare budgets, handle purchasing, test and evaluate hardware and software solutions, conduct training, and interface with vendors.
