Most recently, I led the development of General Mills’ Accelerate corporate strategy, and was the originator, driver and lead negotiator of the company’s $8B acquisition of Blue Buffalo Pet Products. Previously, as the VP of M&A at NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading digital map provider, I led the execution of transactions which enabled NAVTEQ’s expansion into location-based services, 3D mapping, mobile advertising, application software, and crowd-sourced data. I also played a key role in the company’s $8B sale to Nokia. Previously, at Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU), I led the execution of several multi-billion dollar divestitures in one of the largest non-bankruptcy reorganizations in U.S. history, and at Merrill Lynch & Co.(NYSE: ML), I executed buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions across multiple industries and geographies.I earned an MBA with Honors from University of Chicago and a BA with Distinction from University of Michigan. I serve on the Board of Directors of Rahr Corporation.
