ABOUT DOUG MCINTOSH

Extensive architectural experience incl Commercial, Educational, Community Health Centres, Care Support, Primary Care & Long-Term Care. As point of contact & full time Project Manager between the Client & Consultant Team, Doug develops a complete understanding of program, staff & environmental needs. A seasoned professional, highly experienced in efficiently & effectively managing construction & consultant teams to meet fiercely demanding schedules, Doug’s exceptional attention to detail ensures all req’d tasks are completed to stay on budget. Doug was the Project Champion for the Hyper-Speed 13-month completion of Langs Community Health Centre. His sense of personal ownership & responsibility for his work, contributes to the quality of service & project delivery. Backed by 25 years of experience, Doug has a firm understanding how to effectively navigate the often complex design & construction process. Doug is known to his clients for dedication to effective coordination between team members & trades as well as a stickler for the details that ensure a project’s success. Through an iterative process, Doug works with stakeholders & user groups to ensure all parties share a common vision & understanding of the development process. In particular, Doug brings enthusiasm for community based projects & a sense of social responsibility into his work, contributing to the quality of life for our community. Known for his strong communication skills & ability to build excellent working relationships with clients, contractors, sub-consultants & suppliers, he delivers efficient & effective administration during the construction process.
