About Doug McCormack

While my professional career primarily has been in corporate tax including senior management roles at major US companies (Bristol Myers Squibb and Eastman Kodak) and the US subsidiaries of foreign companies (Unilever, Sanofi and Teva Pharmaceuticals), I\'m a trusted and well respected business partner in the pharmaceutical and fast moving consumer goods industries. Having worked in the US and in Europe, as well as with many colleagues across Asia and Africa, I possess a strong business acumen together with practical analytical and critical thinking skills as well as a keen understanding of different cultures together with their approaches to business and talent development opportunities. In short, I solve complex problems/issues in practical and efficient ways. I have extensive experience in business operations, business development, M&A, divestitures and corporate restructurings, leadership and management development. A skilled leader and developer of people, I believe deeply in the guided development of employees, whether those directly under me or throughout the organization. I actively seek out opportunities for people to be inspired, mentored and developed to their full potential. I led the initiative to found the Office of Student and Post Graduate Development at Franklin & Marshall College fostering life-long learning and leadership development for our students. Throughout my career, I have served on numerous advisory councils and boards including the Alumni Board of Franklin & Marshall College and the Boards of Money Federal Credit Union, Reach out and Read of Greater New York, The Global Business Alliance, The Teva Cares Foundation and for 25 years on the Board of Trustees at Franklin & Marshall College. A resident of Naples, Florida with a second home in New York City, I hold a bachelor\'s degree from Franklin & Marshall College, a jurisdiction doctorate from Case Western Reserve University and an LL.M (in Taxation) from New York University. Semi-retired, I am actively seeking board level opportunities as well as roles in leadership and management development.
