Training & Development: Supported the development of online training programs for all Foremost employees — tasked by senior leadership to assist with creating online employee training workshops, onboarding procedures and annual employee performance reviews. Spearheaded onboarding of new employees at the Calgary facility, coordinated authorizations & access with hiring managers and IT, acquired employee information, and updated personnel files.Recruitment & Selection: Drove the recruitment & selection efforts of top talent — worked closely with hiring managers to assess workforce plans across the province, created job descriptions, managed advertising on job boards & social media platforms, prescreened job applicants, conducted preliminary interviews, scheduled pre-employment physical assessment testing, performed reference checks and supported the onboarding of new employees.Compensation: Partnered with payroll to ensure timely pay periods for over 200 employees on a weekly basis for 2 facilities and pay groups within the organization. General: Provided advice and counsel on HR matters to senior leadership, including but not limited to recruitment, disability management, return to work and accommodation; and with consultation on employee relations issues, performance management, change management, compensation and benefits. In addition, provided recommendations and contributed to the development, implementation and support of internal policies, guidelines and processes to reinforce company philosophy and core values.
