Doug Lynn is a current ASNT Level 3 Digital and Film Radiography, Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Penetrant Testing. Quality Manager for several aerospace manufacturers and process houses. He has served as FAA / EASA Accountable Manager for Part 145 repair stations. He served as prime voting member of NADCAP task groups for NDT and Chemical Processing. Experience includes managing up to 100 personnel in multiple locations and multiple projects. He has experience in Castings, forgings, composites, NDT, wet chemical processing, plating, coatings, painting, machining, heat treating and semi conductor inspection. Manage Supplier Quality Assurance in manufacturing and assembly, spares, supplier base, receiving, shipping, export of product through FAA DMIR process. Maintain and update all records, databases, and produce reports on supplier quality, Supplier Requested Material Review Board (SRMRB). Direct, train, assign and provide guidance to the Supplier Quality Assurance Representatives (SQAR) and Delegated Source Inspectors (DSI) throughout a worldwide supply chain. Perform product verification and surveys/audits of the supplier base. Responsible for assuring compliance to specifications and procedures by suppliers, update ASL (Approved Supplier List) information and removal of nonperforming suppliers. Responsible for conducting initial survey and performance audits of suppliers for product and process approvals. Welding brazing engineer/ examiner. Also includes wide body aircraft inspections thru \"D\" checks. M P&S engineering. In addition to being a current ASNT level in Magnetic Particle, Radiographic and Liquid Penetrant. He has been certified both as company and customer level in Eddy Current, Ultra Sonic, Pressure/ leak and Visual, inspection methods. He is versed in layout, CMM and mechanical inspection. He has acted as lead auditor by performing initial qualification audits of suppliers systems and processes for prime approval. He is also a DSQR for several major aerospace primes.
