ABOUT DOUG LINEBERRY

Whether I\'m assisting clients with the protection of intellectual property through patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution, or intellectual property litigation, I focus on building relationships founded on trust and constant communication. I successfully prosecute patent applications for mechanical, medical, and chemical technologies. I help clients with establishing and protecting trademark portfolios, guarding against improper third-party use, and conducting enforcement actions. I advise my clients on all matters involving intellectual property, trade secrets, branding and marketing issues, and contractual and other business matters. I also work with mid-level companies within the biotech industry. This gives me the opportunity to use my broad connections to help bring their inventions to market safely while protecting their intellectual property every step of the way.For me, ideas are everything. Bringing together my love of science and a desire to help people achieve something greater, I always knew I would be a lawyer. I am enthusiastic and inquisitive, and I thrive on the aggressive pursuit of truth that enables me to present the best options to my clients. I enjoy diving into the technical aspects of a case, working tirelessly through every facet. I bring my findings to a larger group to ensure that my clients benefit from the collective strengths of my team. When I\'m not working, I take time to be involved in my children’s activities and am a self-proclaimed horror and sci-fi movie buff.
