ABOUT DOUG IRVIN

I am an experienced transactional real estate attorney with D.R. Horton, serving as an Associate Region Counsel for the Mid-Atlantic Region. My primary responsibilities include review of finished lot and land acquisitions, review and negotiation of purchase agreements, review of title, structuring homeowners associations and condominiums, review and approval of residential out-sale contracts and disclosures, including condominium registrations, and the training and supervision of outside counsel. Prior to joining D.R. Horton, I represented many of the Washington metropolitan region’s largest and most highly visible developers and builders of residential, commercial, mixed-use and air-rights development projects, providing comprehensive legal counsel regarding the structure, documentation, operation and sale of master-planned communities, condominiums, homeowners associations and other common interest developments.
