I am a consulting environmental engineer with a track record of solving issues for my clients efficiently and accurately, and with experience in management of carbon, air emissions, water and wastewater, and contaminated site remediation. I pride myself in assisting environmental leaders with addressing those initiatives in a competitive business setting while upholding the highest ethical and technical standards.In my primary roles as a climate change and air quality specialist, I lead projects for estimation organizational or infrastructure greenhouse gas (GHG) footprint for voluntary or mandatory disclosure, assessment of reduction opportunities for that footprint, creation and use of carbon offsets, and permitting of air emissions (including traditional air pollutants, and now GHGs) for new and modified facilities. This includes solving difficult problems such as developing carbon offset methodologies for new project types, assessing non-traditional carbon footprints for which existing protocols are lacking, and inventory for complicated chemical and physical processes. I have led the successful air permitting of many industrial and energy facilities, and with the EPA “Tailoring Rule” this includes technical leadership for GHG permitting of more than a dozen projects, several of which are “first of a kind” for assessment of GHG control options.I am a professional engineer in CO, WY, KS, and NM.

This global technology function includes management of QA/QC, training, staffing, and methodology development for Jacobs’ greenhouse gas (GHG) and carbon management services.
