As a veteran in the music industry, Doug has learned that much of one’s success depends on equal parts talent, great management, and building core relationships. Doug has been blessed to work with and manage the careers of some of the world’s greatest talents, such as the world-wide phenomenon Guns-n-Roses. From the release of their first single to selling over 180 million albums across the globe, Doug led the band through thick and thin touring 40 nations – even selling out the Tokyo Dome an unheard of five times. Other well-known ‘A’ listers Doug has had the honor of working with and managed their careers are Blind Melon, Danzig, Xzibit, Anthrax, and more.Doug had the inspiration of retiring early in life to be a father, so after 17 years, Doug sold Big FD, Inc, in 2004. However, being as active as he is playing golf, skiing, and having a 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Doug found himself not ready for “retirement life.” Having been a very successful sales person, Doug returned to sales,First in retail, as the sales manager of an art company, than, as a real estate agent for the popular company from their HGTV show, Hawaii Life.
