About Doug Bush
I have been the Vice President of Bush Brothers Provision Company for over 18 years, leading and growing this fifth-generation family business in the South Florida market and beyond. I coordinate sales representatives, manage major contracted accounts, and oversee various aspects of human resources and information technology. I am skilled in food service, business expansion, and municipal politics, and I have a strong vision for the future of the meat industry. I am also an Executive Board Member of the North American Meat Institute (NAMI), the largest meat industry trade association that represents over 1700 companies around North America. I have been serving on the board since 2015, after the merger of NAMA and AMI, where I was also a board member. I am passionate about advocating for the interests and values of the meat industry, as well as fostering collaboration and innovation among its diverse stakeholders. In 2017, I was honored to be recognized as one of the 25 Future Icons of the Meat Industry by The National Provisioner magazine.
