ABOUT NHAN DO

I am dedicated to protecting and serving my community through public safety, leadership, and service. Currently pursuing a degree in Homeland Security Studies and Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University, and serving as a TCOLE-licensed Telecommunicator— I am deepening my ability to respond effectively when lives are on the line.My journey of service began as an Intern at two Houston-area law enforcement agencies, where I worked alongside officers on patrol and assisted at the executive level in the Emergency Operations Center during major events. These experiences reinforced my belief that every role—whether on the front lines or behind the scenes—plays a vital part in keeping communities safe.Today, I serve as a Senior Police Telecommunicator at the Houston Police Department, where I directly support the efforts of officers on the ground. My work spans administrative, communicative, and investigative tasks, all guided by the principle that public service is a calling, not just a career.Beyond my professional role, I invest in my campus and community through leadership in student organizations. I currently serve as VP of Finance for Alpha Sigma Phi – Kappa Xi, Sergeant at Arms for the American Criminal Justice Association – ΛΑΕ - Delta Chi chapter and National Student Representative for the American Criminal Justice Association – ΛΑΕ - Region 2. I also volunteer supporting local initiatives to build trust, cooperation, and resilience. From the call floor to the office, I serve with integrity, empathy, and purpose. If you share the commitment to strengthen public safety, empower communities, and create meaningful change, I’d be honored to connect and work toward that mission together.
